Inari – 1 July 2018

This morning we have a late wake up and a slow breakfast, as we put some washing through the washing machine and actually hang it on the outside clothes line as it’s going to be a sunny 22 degrees today.

We walk along the Juutua river and watch the locals fish and admire the sparkling rapids of the river.

In the afternoon we visit the Sami museum Siida, which is very interesting.  There are permanent & temporary exhibits inside and an outdoor town that includes houses, storage huts and traps , depicting everyday life in years gone by.

Tonight for dinner we have a relaxing BBQ in the garden after an energetic day.
