1st May 2015 – Vancouver

This morning Shiraz is given a grease and oil change, a clean inside & out as well as a clean engine bay, so all that Chile and Argentinian dirt and gravel that has been collecting in the chassis rails is gone. She is sparkling.Michael also puts the car on Peter’s hoist and runs a spanner over all the nuts and bolts tightening up any that are loose, and he did find a few. The whole group is at Anne & Peters plus Tony & Steve who are helping everyone with their repairs, they all have beautiful MGA’s and are members of the North American MGA Register.Blue B finally has overdrive working again now and the cars going into storage tomorrow are all prepared ready for next years trip to Halifax. Thanks must go to Anne who serves us a wonderful home cooked meal, the first in 4 months, we have freshly made garlic bread and spaghetti bolognese yummy.Tonight we go to a presentation of our trip to the Canadian XK Jaguar Register and Canadian Classic MG Club.Everyone brings along a plate of food and we have a buffet meal, followed by a presentation of our trip by Dave followed by a PowerPoint presentation by Sue. This is well received by the 70 + members present and a great summary of our trip bringing back wonderful memories to we adventurers, thanks Susie.
