19th January 2015 – Los Antiguos

Today is a rest day, time to catch up on some sleep, washing, the blog and car maintenance.  Our washing top left we seem to have more than everyone else:-Our hotel is right on Lake Buenos Aires which is the north eastern end of the lake we drove around yesterday.  The weather today is beautiful and the lake is lovely and blue.  We are currently at 45 degrees south, which is down below Tasmania and Ushuaia which is where we are heading to is 54.8 degrees south, so we have a way to go yet.Michael is doing some work on the car, he’s putting back the fuel pump & distributor that he swapped over in Hornopiren, putting in a new heater tap & fixing the exhaust bracket that lost a bolt yesterday on the rough road.  Everyone has washed their car today except for us, so we’ll do that this afternoon, once he’s happy with his repairs.The car is only dirty on the bottom but we still washed it:-
