7th January 2015 – First attempt to get cars through customs

We had an early start to the port of San Antonio only to discover that the paperwork everyone had was not an original and they insisted on an original.  So the shipping agent scurried back to Santiago to organise the correct paperwork and we headed to our hotel in Vina del Mar by bus to wait for further instructions.  Unfortunately there was not enough time to go back in the afternoon once the correct paperwork was found, so we  enjoyed the view from our hotel room instead and wondered if we’d have more luck tomorrow! Oh well as the locals say Manana!
