Our accommodation in Kalajoki is a holiday house as this is a big holiday area for locals as it sits on a gulf in the norther part of the Baltic Sea.
On the way to Savonlinna we drive through a town with a beautiful wooden church.
All along the sides of the roads are lots of beautiful coloured flowers growing wild.
Our lunch spot today is on a lake which is just beautiful. It’s a very hot day and there is no shade sitting out on the little jetty, so we don’t stay long.
The drive to Savonlinna is through beautiful lush forest again.
