Today it was back on the rocky road to leave the ranch as we had 330km ahead of us mostly on bone shaking dirt roads.\u00a0 We both held our breath as the car sailed along soaking up the bumps of the road. The car ran beautifully over the rocky road and we were both able to relax (especially Michael) and enjoy the drive, with no fuel surge into the carbies, & the car didn\u2019t stall once. Success at last! Let\u2019s hope Ross doesn\u2019t need his SU fuel pump back before we get off the dirt roads!\u00a0 Once again we drove through amazing desert, with lama\u2019s more common place and turquoise lakes dotting the landscape, it is breathtaking. I don\u2019t think the photo\u2019s do it justice.
We drove through El Calafate onto the Perito Moreno Glacier, which is quite amazing. We walked quite a few kilometers around a walkway to get up close to the glacier. We were fortunate enough to hear & see a large lump of ice break away, it\u2019s like a thunder clap before the ice falls into the water to create a wave across the turquoise lake.
