We left the hotel at 6:30am and arrived at the customs office just after 8. The boys headed off with their paperwork to be first in the queue for the day. \u00a0They returned to the bus at 11:10 after being told all was good to go & we could collect the cars. So off we went to the area where the cars were in storage only to be told that there was a mistake on one of the papers. \u00a0So it had to be sent back to the customs office to be fixed. \u00a0By the time it came back we were getting close to siesta time which means nothing happens between 12:30 and 2:00. They did take us down to the big shed however where the cars were parked. \u00a0It was very exciting to see them all there lined up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There’s a a mad rush for each of the guys to start their car, all fired up except for the MGA, as something had been left turned on by the Customs drivers and the battery was flat. \u00a0By now the officials were at lunch and we had to wait until siesta was finished before we could leave. \u00a0What’s another hour in a 4 month trip! So we now have our cars and everyone can rest easy tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
